After a quick period in Washington DC in order to interview the Commotion project team (at the New America Foundation, Open technology Intiative – August 2012, interviews by François Huguet), we can present you a quick and interactive overview of a “Commotion deployment”. Whenever we work on devices as infrastructures networks, we may ask ourselves on how this type of communication infrastructures can be considered as political objects and how we can evaluate their political and practical “depth”. What sort of “politics, of “culture” they do carry? Does a video is able to explain better than a drawing how the MESH networks work?
